On Thursday for some strange reason I thought it would be a good idea to dig a flower border in our garden. I had been asking my husband to do it since last autumn and it was such a lovely day I wanted to be out in the garden. I thought I had got away with it yesterday only a few aches. However I have been awake this morning since 3.30 and every joint hurts. When will I ever learn! We are now in London staying with my mother-in-law and I have promised to take my 5 year old daughter to see Buckingham palace. Hopefully we can do most of it on buses and there won't be too much walking involved. Maybe one day I will learn (but I some how doubt it!)

Yes when will we ever learn......

I decided to take the bus and visit a local town. I took a small handbag type trolley with me (just in case) I when into Morrisons and bought a few odds and ends- fresh fruit etc and used the trolley to get the shopping back to the bus stop. When the bus reached my own home village every joint was swearing at me and the 6 minutes walk back home were not much fun. I staggered indoors and headed for the bed - awoke 4 hours later!! Shoulders and wrists have now recovered but feet still a bit swollen.

Hey Ho its time we all "dumped" Arthur. Enjoy your Easter folks

My Husband does the cleaning for me as it is too much for me now. However, bless him, he does not do in all the nooks and crannies so yesterday with the help of my Daughter I stated to tackle those jobs. I hobbled around on my wonky knee and knew I was going to pay for it big time and boy did I. I did not sleep last night because of the pain in every joint. However, I now have some perverse satisfaction that I managed to do some of what I wanted to do. It was eating into me and was an itch I could not scratch so, yes I was silly but hey ho.

Sometimes this RA has to be beaten into a corner.

Hello,

Yes, we never do learn do we. I think when the feel 'ok' and see a job
needing doing you do try to tackle it. Instead of just my bedroom having
a really good turn out, changing and washing sheets etc. What do I do
yes do the spare room and start turning out old clothes etc. Yes, you
have it I was awake off and on all night and was in extreme pain.

Why is it we don;t learn. = Pride probably.

Hope you better now. The weather this Easter has been Fantastic
hasn't .
